Burklee Hill @ Levelland

We took an old building on the square in downtown Levelland and transformed it into our tasting room. Conveniently located on the square in the Main Street District, our tasting room is easily accessible for patrons from all over Texas to be able to enjoy our wine.

Originally built in 1926, this building has been home to various businesses. We stripped it down from the floor up, removed parts of the plaster to expose the original brick and left the original tin ceiling tiles to once again display it’s proud heritage. We modernized the electricity, water and septic and moved the original wall in 8 feet to accommodate an outdoor patio area.

We hope you will visit our industrial modern winery and tasting room and share a glass of Texas wine with us.

Trilogy and Burklee Hill

Levelland Tasting Room - 618 AVE H, LEVELLAND, TEXAS

Chace and Elizabeth Hill, founding owners of Trilogy Cellars, announce the acquisition of all interest in Trilogy Cellars and the immediate association of Trilogy and Burklee Hill wineries. Chace Hill, native of Levelland, said he is "looking forward to continuing the history of the building where the tasting room is located in downtown Levelland," previously owned by Chace Hill's grandparents, Eddie and Jo Beth Courtney. The Hills' commitment to premium Texas wine, as well as an intent to honor family heritage, will serve as the pinnacle missions of both the Levelland location, as well as the Lubbock location, set to open in late 2018. The Hills look forward to expanding the offerings that both locations will be able to serve, including an impressive, combined 23-wine selection.  "In addition to the tasting rooms, we plan to expand the food menu, host wine dinners, wine education classes and tastings and other local events in both Levelland and Lubbock," Elizabeth Hill stated.  "The Texas High Plains is the best region in Texas to grow wine grapes and we believe it can be the next great wine destination," said Elizabeth Hill. The Hills look forward to continuing the tasting room operations in Levelland, as well as the highly anticipated downtown Lubbock location opening later this year. The Hills extend gratitude to the contributions of the other founding Trilogy families, the Bolens and Newsoms.
